Oakside offre a présent à tout acheteur de quatre kits d’assemblage de 116cm un fichier gratuit de plans pour la construction d’une horloge de parquet au style Winchester. Ces plans ont été créés pour l’installation du mouvement HTU à gong tubulaire mais peuvent être facilement modifiés en profondeur et hauteur pour recevoir votre choix de mouvement de 93cm, 100cm ou 116cm

Ideal for Wall Clocks; Kit 09 features Kieninger's Specialist NS miniature High Precision, Time only movements with a choice of 43 or 54cm pendulum length. This is a specially constructed and Highly Polished, Precision cable & weight movement.; The NS 003 movement has four turned pillars mounted on the rear plate - these are used to attach the movement to the rear panel of the clock. This is the method that all high quality regulators are mounted as it reduces the risk of the movement oscillating in sympathy with the pendulum.; The movement runs for eight days and we include a special produced single small brass weight 35mm diameter and 95mm long - this provides the power. The kit also includes an Oakside 150mm White Vienna dial with a brass rim, a Kieninger timber pendulum. We also offer an Oakside Special pendulum that uses Invar in its construction - this metal has an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion and it is virtually unaffected by the temperature changes that are normal in a domestic situation, consequently time-keeping will be almost constant.; Technical data. Highly polished main plates 195mm wide, 60mm high and 1.7mm thick. 8 rubies and 6 bronze bushings reduce the friction on the arbors, a Graham Dead-Beat lever escapement provides the pulses to drive the pendulum and a friction device provides automatic beat adjustment, There is a secondary drive called maintaining power - this keeps the pendulum and second hand advancing correctly during the rewinding period.
