Do not under any circumstances transmit your credit card details to Oakside Classic Clocks by e-mail or by phone using a mobile phone as transmitting your details by these method may not be secure.
If you require us to process your credit & Debit card transaction manually, please contact us on a fixed line phone.

We do not under any circumstances pass your personal details to any third party other than to RomanCart & HSBC Secure ePayments, when you elect to pay by a credit & debit card transaction.

Clock Prices
Oakside’s web site www.classic-clocks.co.uk includes an On-line price calculator with prices in Stirling - we can also accept payments in EURO, please contact us for details. Our German language web site www.oakside-classic-clocks.com has an On-line price calculator with prices in Euro. Any prices shown in other currencies are for guidance only and we do not imply or accept any contractual obligation to supply our products at the guide price shown in foreign currencies – all completion invoices will be in Stirling or Euro depending on the web site where the original order was placed! Fluctuations in currency exchange rates will effect all other foreign currency conversions.
We will supply your clock at the price quoted when we received your deposit, irrespective of any price increase that Oakside imposes after that date; we do however reserve the right to cancel your order and refund your deposit should our suppliers significantly increase prices.
VAT
Oakside Classic Clocks was originaly registered for VAT but we have now de-registered and we deliberately limit our annual sales so that we remain below the threshold that would require compulsory re-registration! Our prices now only contain the input VAT imposed on us when we purchase supplies - we do not have to add the VAT on the added value of building our clocks.
Export Orders
Oakside accepts export orders from most countries – please make a preliminary enquiry using our on-line enquiry form on the “contact us” page.
Completion Invoices
We will invoice you for the outstanding balance when your clock is ready for delivery and we require full payment at least seven days before despatch of your clock. Ownership of the clock passes to you when the payment has been cleared into our bank account.
We reserve the right to decline payment by credit & debit card for clocks that are to be collected by customers, unless previously agreed.
Delivery Period
As each of our Longcase Clocks are handcrafted, delivery periods will fluctuate; we will make every effort to complete the construction & delivery of your order as quickly as production permits but we will not sacrifice quality to speed production. We will advise you of the approximate construction and delivery period when we receive you order or when you make an enquiry!
Transport and Packaging Rates
Our web site quotations are inclusive of the packaging & transport to stated destinations – we will be pleased to advise delivery costs to any other part of the world.
We employ a Professional Packaging Company to design packing for our clocks and we expect third party freight companies to transport our clocks with due diligence but do not accept any claims for damages occurred in transport by third party freight agents.
Guarantee
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the quality of your purchase from Oakside Classic Clocks, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and we will arrange for collection and the supply of a replacement clock or a full refund (minus carriage costs) of the purchase price. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
Exceptions
We cannot provide a refund or replacement if you have commissioned a special clock.
Complaints Procedure
We believe that the quality of our clocks will provide satisfaction but in the rare event of a problem occurring, we will attempt to handle all complaints fairly, effectively and confidentially. Any complaint via telephone, fax or e-mail is answered as soon as possible. Any complaint that comes in via the post is replied to immediately, by telephone if a number is quoted, and we aim that all complaints are resolved with 5 working days.
Oakside Classic Clocks reserve the right to improve specifications without notice.
